Larry Krauss in Singapore

Dr. Lawrence Krauss was in Singapore last week and gave an excellent talk on the rise of the standard model.

Two things that stood out were his excellent oratorical skills and his superb sense of humour. The man is brilliant.

"The greatest story ever told" in Singapore is not available on YouTube but this is the talk he gave at Oklahoma City earlier this year, which is pretty much the same thing. And here's to "The Unbelievers" out soon!

Flash in the pan
dust in the eye-
at the end of the day
just a vapor trail* in the sky.

7. If you really feel something intensely enough, people around you will read your mind and your thoughts.
